The proper intervention with emergency dental care can save your smile. But it may be difficult to determine if what you are experiencing is an emergency. Persistent pain is a sign that something is wrong, especially if you’re unsure why it’s happening or you know you can’t treat the pain yourself. If you experienced an injury to your mouth or teeth through a specific activity, you may also need to see your dentist immediately. Fallen teeth or dental work, also qualify as emergencies — nothing should be falling out of your mouth. If you’re still unsure, please give us a call and one of our team members can help determine if you need to be seen right away, and guide you through self-care in the meantime.
